Barley Porridge

Serves 4


200g pearl barley

750ml low fat milk

1/2 tsp salt

20g butter

Stevia, to serve

20g almonds, to serve (optional)

How to prepare:

  1. Place the pearl barley, milk, salt and butter in the slow cooker and set to low.
  2. Leave the slow cooker to do the work overnight.
  3. In the morning, give the porridge a stir and serve it with stevia and roughly chopped almonds.
