Shona is so happy with her weight loss so far!

,

Shona has so far lost an incredible 2 stone in 45 days! She followed our Very Low Calorie Ketogenic Diet. She never felt hungry and found the diet easy to follow. Shona had struggled with emotional eating but found that the diet made it easier to control. Read more about how Shona is now feeling:

“I suppose the biggest thing for me has been the change that has happened on two levels. One, the emotional level: I had struggled with my weight for so many years and had tried so many different faddy kind of diets and always kind of put it off. But finally something clicked on an emotional level, that I was so unhappy and I really wanted to make a change. “

“ I had done a bit on investigating and had come across your clinic and read testimonials for people on your website, and really just saw something in it that I wanted to strive for and I wanted to achieve. So with the backing of my family and they totally supported me in this, I headed up to the clinic in Loughlinstown 45 days ago now and met with your amazing team and from that day I can honestly say, without sounding like a cliché, that it has genuinely changed my life. “

“ I just find that my feelings every single day, my confidence is growing, the change that it has given me and how I’m feeling in myself has been enormous. You can’t put a price on something like that. “

“Then, from a physical side of things, I’ve seen massive difference in the 45 days. I’ve lost 10% of my body weight, which has been absolutely incredible. I keep changing my wardrobe; my husband isn’t so happy as I’m spending all our money on new clothes! But the difference that it has made to me even in my mental health and in how I’m feeling about myself has been absolutely astronomical.

“ I’ve never in my life found something that has worked for me, and has actually allowed me to stay going with something. And seeing the results and achieving them in a way that has been really healthy way of doing it as opposed to just a quick fix, this is actually a lifestyle change which has happened. I’m so excited for the next couple of weeks and the next couple of months and for the next year so then I can kind of become the best version of myself, and that is thanks to Orsmond clinic. “

Dr Eva Orsmond debates the weighing of children in schools on Ireland AM

Dr Eva Orsmond appeared on Ireland AM on the 9th October 2018 to discuss the benefits of weighing of children in schools.

According to Dr Eva, unfortunately, parents are not very good at recognising the excess weight in their children. This is why Dr Eva is an advocate for early intervention, to prevent the kids becoming overweight in the first place. She feels that school is the best place to do this, as it has worked so well in the Scandinavian countries, where monitoring children’s weight is as normal as monitoring their blood pressure.

“I’m really talking about prevention here, and I just wish that I would be able to explain this in a way that people would understand how positive it is….Weight should be seen as a really important parameter for health”.
